Characteristics of the LRB-course:

  • not 'philosophical' - but pragmatic;
  • a cooperation between the Benedictine University of St. Anselmo, Rome and the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland;
  • for monks and nuns in position of leadership; for lay people who are in charge of responsible positions in Benedictine monasteries;
  • four modules, each with a teacher from St. Gallen and a Benedictine speaker;
  • solution and action driven approach with simple, but well proven tools and frameworks; the scientific foundation happens in the background;
  • focus on shared priorities and consistency in strategy making and execution;
  • based on the experiences of three successful courses (2013/2014/2015) with altogether more than 80 Monks and Nuns from five continents and about twenty countries.
